Sacramento State professor and poet Tim Kahl delivers a lecture on the short forms of Asian poetry.

We will be looking at forms from Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Indonesia and perhaps others and looking at the historical and cultural contexts they exist in as well as looking at how they relate to the musical styles (like gugak) from which they are derived as well as the current musical possibilities for these forms.
