PANEL DISCUSSION OF JULIUS CAESAR
Sunday, March 1, 2015, 5:30pm–7pm, Sacramento Poetry Center, 1719 25th Street

STC and the Sacramento Poetry Center present a panel discussion on Julius Caesar with STC artists and other local Shakespeare authorities. A selection of scenes from the STC production will also be presented. A small reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., and the discussion will begin at 6 p.m. Beer, wine, and light hors d’oeuvres will be available. The discussion is free and open to the public.

SONNET WRITING CLASS WITH SACRAMENTO POET LAUREATE JEFF KNORR

Sacramento Poet Laureate Jeff Knorr is the author of three books of poetry, and his works have appeared in numerous literary journals and anthologies. The master class is free and open to anyone who would like to attend.

SONNET WRITING CONTEST

STC is holding a classical sonnet writing contest with two grand prizes: The winner of the youth division will win a weekend trip to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, OR March 13 – 15, 2015 with STC’s Young Professionals Conservatory, departing from Sacramento. The winner of the adult division will receive a $250 honorarium. Both winners will be published in the Sacramento Poetry Center’s summer edition of Poetry Now.

Q&A WITH THE CAST AND DIRECTOR OF THE HAMLET THRILL-MA-GEDDON
Saturday, March 7, 2015, 2pm, Pollock Stage

Join us for our Youth Series production of The Hamlet Thrill-ma-geddon featuring students from STC’s Young Professionals Conservatory. After the performance, there will be a Q&A session with the cast and key staff members including director Michael RJ Campbell.

THE IDES OF MARCH, Q&A WITH THE CAST OF JULIUS CAESAR
Sunday, March 15, 2015, 2pm, Main Stage

Join us for the performance of Julius Caesar and a special post-performance Q&A with members of the cast on March 15. Mention “the Ides of March” at the Box Office and purchase tickets to Julius Caesar for $15 for the March 15th 2 p.m. show. Tickets can be purchased by calling 916-443-6722 or visiting the Box Office. Discount not available online.

Note: SPC members can order discount tickets for Julius Caesar on the phone from STC (443-6722) by mentioning SPC. The show opens February 22.
